Michael DeMatteo, Chairman
Michael is a Government and International Politics major in his Junior year at GMU. Previously a CR for 2 semesters, Michael was elected to 1st Vice Chairman in the Spring of 2010 and promoted to Chairman in May. His priorities are increased outreach and GOTV at Mason and in the general NOVA area. He has political experience working for John McCain 2008 at the Crystal City National Headquarters, Bob McDonnell for Governor, Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General, as well as several NOVA delegate and state senate campaigns. Also active in campus politics, he has served the Mason student body as a Student Senator for 3 semesters and is currently the ranking member on the Senate Finance Committee. Kristie Colorado, 1st Vice Chairman
Kristie Colorado is a sophomore majoring in Government and International Politics with a minor in Economics and possibly adding Criminology, Law and Society as a double minor. Before she was involved with the George Mason College Republicans she was very involved in politics in Virginia Beach. The summer after her junior year of high school she campaigned for former Congresswoman Thelma Drake, and later Delegate Barry Knight, Delegate Chris Stolle, and Governor Bob McDonnell. Currently, she is working for Scott Rigell, who is running for Congress in Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District. Mike Schaffer, 2nd Vice Chairman
Mike is currently a GMU Student Senator and active College Republican involved with outreach and coordination. Active in the GOP across many states including Virginia and Massachusetts, Mike is a vital asset to Mason CR outreach. Chelsea Athena Morin, Secretary
Chelsea previously served as the founding Chair of Germana Community College Republicans and was very active during the 2009 General elections, as well as local politics. Currently, she is a Government and International Politics major and a Junior at George Mason University. She is very excited to be serving in her new role as Secretary for the club and hopes she can build upon her experience with the Germana College Republicans . She can be reached at cmorin2@gmu.edu

Rodger “Trey” Easton, Treasurer
Trey Easton is an economics major in his senior year at Mason. As tresurer for GMUCR, his first priority is to safeguard and enhance the club’s financial viability and, secondly, to procure funding for current and future events. Trey was a general member of CR for a year before applying for appointment to the E-board, and since then, ran for re-election and won. Trey ultimately wishes to continue his involvement in politics throughout his career, which he hopes will come in the field of economic policy analysis at the Heritage Foundation. GMUCR is very close to Trey’s heart, he is proud to represent its members on the E-board and looks to every meeting with anticipation. He wishes his fellow E-board members and general club members the best and invites everyone involved to continue their participation and help to expand the best organization on campus! Josh is a Government and International Politics major with a concentration in American Politics, as well as a minor in Administration of Justice. He is a Senior at Mason and is returning to the Executive Board in an Advisory role, after being 2nd Vice Chairman and 1st Vice Chairman for two years. He has previously interned for Congressman Tom Davis and the Department of Defense Education Activity. He also blogs at Red NoVA.

Vital to GMUCRs big tent, JT serves as the ex-officio outreach officer to bring in like minded people starting Fall 2010. He is active in GMU military outreach with prior experience as a United States Marine Corps candidate.
